Escape to our Little Cabin in the Woods for a tranquil retreat surrounded by nature. The perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities makes it an ideal getaway for those seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating stay. Built in 1890, it was the original homestead on the property. Surrounded by Wildlife, you may see Deer, Elk, Moose, Turkey, Chickens, Ducks, or friendly Dogs. Just a few minutes down the mountain to the freeway. About 20 mins to Coeur d’Alene, & 20 to Spokane Valley.

Not quite a tiny home... an addition was added on back in the 80's...fully remodeled and updated. Small, but cute Master Bedroom with smart TV. Large living room with power reclining furniture, large smart TV, Checkers table. 2nd living room, with a small sectional that turns into a full size bed, smart tv, dvd, games/coloring. Fully equipped Kitchen with everything you need for cooking. Small but adorable full bathroom, and a loft with a queen bed and smart TV. Desk for work time, overlooking a fire pit and wildlife that join sometimes. Wifi. Full size washer and dryer for your convenience in Cabin. Laundry essentials provided, as well as Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Coffee, Pods, Tea, and some spices. *New addition!! Enjoy the back screened-in patio in the morning with your coffee, or at night and watch the many deer that come in to feed. (There is a camera that faces the back property for wildlife) Behind the cabin, you'll find a fire pit that you are more than welcome to sit around and enjoy in the evenings. Fully stocked with wood! (If you smoke cigars or whatnot, this is where you can do that.) However, no weed or parties allowed. Please make sure you put it out before retiring to bed, as we do live in a treed area. We are: 27 miles to Silverwood Theme Park 55 miles to Silver Mountain Ski Resort / Silver Rapids indoor Waterpark. 78 miles to Lookout Pass Ski Resort 67 miles to Schweitzer Ski Resort 33 Miles to MT Spokane Ski and Snowboard Park.
Other Details to Note
Our dogs, Remi and Boss, are very friendly. If you leave the cabin door open, they like to come inside and visit guests. “Remi” is a Lab/Husky mix. “Boss” is a black lab. If you are afraid of dogs, please let me know before you arrive. Moose do occasionally come on the Property. Please do not get close. They are very big and can be dangerous. We have adult children and their friends that come up for dinner and outside play occasionally. Feel free to join them in a game of basketball or Cornhole!

Because we are in the mountains, please be aware of your surroundings when coming to and from. Deer and Elk love to run across the road.. especially at night.
Guest Access
We have gates to our Property. A code will be provided before you arrive. We have a large driveway with plenty of parking in front of the guest house. If you are bringing a trailer, there will be room, please just let us know ahead of time.

Typically the gate to our Property will be open when you arrive. If you accidentally pass it, you will end up in a culdesac to the right. That is our second gate, always closed. The code is the same for both gates. 🥰
